The Zo Artzeinu
Movement
of Israel
presents:
This is Our Land
Projects to Strengthen the Jewish People in the Jewish Land
But this year is a “Shmittah” (Sabbatical) year in Israel.

According to the Torah, all tree plantings
are strictly forbidden during this year.

So What can we do???
What’s going to happen this year on Tu B’Shevat – the
holiday of tree planting in Israel???
Your tree will be
planted, cared for
and brought to life
by
100% Jewish
labor.

These young men
and women are
pioneers in the
land and follow all
Halachot (Jewish
Law) carefully.
Your tree brings
them life, growth
and parnossa
(financial income).
A beautiful personalized - full color -
certificate will be mailed to you.

Trees can be planted in memory of
departed ones, in honor of family or
friends or for any reason at all. Your
certificate will contain the text you want
and is suitable for framing.
Tu B’Shevat Is Near!
(15th of Shevat – Jan 22)
Tu B’Shevat – The holiday of planting new fruit trees in
Israel –  is coming
We have a solution!!!
This Tu B’Shevat you can continue to support and
strengthen the Land of Israel
In keeping 100% with the strict guidelines of Halachah (Jewish
law) – we have set up a unique way to “plant” trees this Tu B’
Shevat. Please read, get involved and pass this email to your
friends. Tu B’Shevat is coming VERY soon!

1) In keeping with the custom of Tu B’Shevat: Order and pay
for your new fruit trees now. (Before Jan 22)

2) All money that is collected will be given NOW to Israeli
farmers who live in Yehuda and Shomron (Judea and
Samaria) and who keep all Shmittah laws properly. This
money will be a great help to them since they are not
engaged in any form of commerce this entire year. (Imagine if
you had no salary for a whole year!!!)

3) The actual new fruit trees will be planted
after Rosh Ha’
Shanah
, the Jewish New Year (Oct 2nd ) – when it is
permissible to do so. All orders received now will be FIRST IN
LINE to be planted as soon as the Shmittah ends.

4) A personalized, full-color certificate will be mailed to you
listing the date – after Rosh Ha’Shanah – when your trees will
be planted. This certificate will be mailed to you NOW.
Last year, Manhigut Yehudit and Zo
Artzeinu helped plant over 5,000 new fruit
trees.
Will that number become ZERO this
year???
What about the income to the farmers?
What about settling the Holy Land of Israel?
This year you can:
• keep the Mitzvah of Tu B’Shevat
• plant new fruit trees in Israel
• and have a share with your brothers in the special
Mitzvah
